A free week of Claude Pro: how to get a guest pass link
Find the Guest Pass link, check who can use it, and understand the trial terms. A step-by-step guide with screenshots.
Want to try Claude Pro for seven days without paying for the trial week? Guest Pass lets eligible subscribers invite a friend. Having a Claude account does not guarantee access to this offer. There are two separate roles: the person sharing an invitation and the person receiving it.
Who can receive the offer?
According to Anthropic, recipients must be new to paid Claude subscriptions. Eligible Pro and Max subscribers can share a limited number of guest passes.

How to find the invitation link
These steps are for someone checking whether they have a pass to share with a friend. The screenshots show the Claude desktop app. Menu labels and locations may differ between versions.
1. Open the account menu
Open Claude and click your name or profile picture in the bottom-left corner.
2. Find Share guest passes
Select Share guest passes in the account menu. This opens the invitations you can share with friends.
3. Check your remaining passes
A window titled Give a friend a free week of Pro opens. The number below the ticket icons shows how many passes remain. Our screenshot says 3 of 3 left, meaning three invitations are available. Your count may be different.
4. Copy the link
Click Copy link next to the link field at the bottom of the window. You can now paste it into a message to a friend who wants to try Pro.
The screenshot also offers the sender $10 in usage credits if the friend becomes a paying subscriber. This is not cash or a reward for the recipient, and it is subject to the terms shown in the account.
Want to receive a trial yourself?
Ask someone with an available Guest Pass to send you their link. You can share this guide to help them find it. Copying a link from your own account does not activate a trial for you; that link invites someone else.
Cannot find the sharing option?
The offer is not available to every account. The official instructions also list Claude settings under Claude Code, Cowork settings in the desktop app, and the /passes command inside Claude Code as places to check.
